Ah, champagne! My fave. I notice you don't mention sparkling wine in ths post...will you at a later date? I'm just curious what you'd recommend when you want to make a chmpagne cocktail (my fave is a simple 1:1 mix of pomegranate juice and prosecco).

Thanks for your question Eric. There are a lot of great sparkling wines on the market these days, mostly from new world growers. New Zealand and Australia both offer some great deals, e.g. Seaview. One of my current faves is from France - Blanquette de Limoux Grande Reserve, a sparkling wine made in the Champagne method, amazing value at around $14. Hope this helps. RJH
