So last weekend on my short trip to Philly, I went with the BF and his Mom (Yo, Cackles!) on a lil' shopping excursion. I bought my first big pricey pair of jeans from Diesel ($220 bucks!?) Yeah, I know but they are sweeeeeet. I took their advice and know that my choice was not a bad one. They are amazing jeans I'll be able to rock 'em for years. Now I'm just hungry for more though. I'll have to save that for another paycheck. :-) Anyway, we also went to H&M and I got to take a look at some of the pieces in Madonna's 'M' line with H&M. I wasn't blown away by the line - not because the design is poor but because like most H&M clothes, the quality of the fabric on some of the pieces is just...off. Cacks was able to find a dress in the line that she loved and she looked fabulous in it. I picked up a pair of the shades seen below (on Madge not me) for $34 bucks. Even if I don't wear them out, I'm glad I do have a piece from this line. Who knows how many more times this type of thing will happen with Madge so I'm gonna get a piece of it while it lasts. If Madonna does this in the future, it might be time to pair up with her buddy Stella McCartney or Donatella Versace. The quality of these ladies' lines far exceeds what H&M will ever do. I know she was doing it with H&M so that her line was more accessible and could be bought by the masses (and likely because she got a bigger cut of the $$!) but if you're looking for longevity, a higher end collaboration will be remembered for so much longer. So anyway - my spending this past weekend was fun. I guess I'm treating myself to celebrate my promotion at work. It's not often I spend on myself so I quite enjoyed it. I think I could get used to that kind of behavior. :-) xoxox.

Boo, Suzi broke down as well and got 3 pieces from the collection- best of all, dumb bitch at the register wasn't paying attention and completely undercharged me for everything! Thanks, M!
