Hey peeps - it's been quite the lazy Sunday for me. I was a bad boy and stayed out way too late last night after attending the Scissor Sisters concert at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden. My friend Gina and I had such a blast. We had general admission seats which meant it truly was up to us just how close we wanted to get to the band and damn were we close. We stood just right of the center of the stage and could see every move they made. I've never seen the Scissor Sisters live. They are truly fantastic artists. They are effortlessly groundbreaking and modern while seeming completely retro if that makes sense. They are ahead of their time in so many respects yet their music sounds like it was dripped and drizzled from the dance floors of the 70s. I loved them. LOVED THEM! Amazing. I'm not sure when they'll be back to NYC but I will not miss another show again. I decided to post another video of the band. This one is a remake of the song Comfortably Numb. The song originally done by the Pink Floyd gets a reworking that shows the band's talent and brilliance. Thank you Gina for the super duper fun and fab concert outing. Thank you Jerry for the fun post-show. Whenever I'm out with those too I know it's going to be a good time. My lack of sleep is kicking my butt today but thankfully it's Sunday - lazy lazy lazy Sunday. Hope your Sunday is relaxed as mine is. xoxo.
