When you live in New York City, it's very easy to tell the cab driver where you'd like to be driven and which route to take. It's not so easy to be able to afford to take cabs everywhere so many of us city dwellers must rely on public transportation in order to get where we need to go. I was just introduced to a site that is super duper cool and will become quite handy for me. So many times, I get an address of a new bar or a friend's apartment and hell if I know the best way to get there by subway - well taaaa daaaa - NOW I DO. HOPSTOP.COM now allows you to choose your city (currently you can choose either NYC, San Fran, Boston, Washington DC or Chicago) put in the starting and ending address and its gives you the quickest route via public transportation. sweet, huh? I wonder when google will have it's own version. I'm sure it's not too far off. If you live in any of these cities, it's such a valuable tool. Check it out. :-)
