Another Madonna video back drop has surfaced online. This video back drop was used during Madonna's promo tour following the release of her Hard Candy album this past Spring. The song is Miles Away. I like this backdrop better than the one featured on the Sticky and Sweet Tour. This video made me think of the struggle Madge likely faced juggling family, marriage and work with her husband tied to work in the UK and her career taking her all over the globe. The lack of face time is tough to manage. I've done the long distance relationship thing and it doesn't work for long. This song is one of my favorites from the Hard Candy album. It's still such a telling song that give a glimpse in to what likely played a major role in the demise of her marriage - the struggle to sustain long distance love. Check it out. xx.
A very fierce Victoria Beckham graces the cover and pages of the new Russian Vogue this month. Vicks rocks the Spring 2009 fashions from D&G (the red dress), Louis Vuitton (the blue skirt + the shaggy one), Giles (the orange one) as well as a frock from her own line (the black one with the military cap). Mrs. Beckham can wear anything well. I'm such a fan of her style. Many joke the fashionista but few have her courage to rock it out with no regrets. xx.
"The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mood of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change, for happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up." — Charles Morgan
Beyonce serenades President Obama and his wife Michelle with the song At Last during their first dance at one of the many Inaugural Balls held on Tuesday evening. It's pretty touching to watch. How absolutely classy these two fine individuals are. At Last, indeed. Check it out. xx.
