Is Britney on the way back?

Despite reports that Britney Spears would NOT be performing during the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, a new video has leaked to the web showing Britney performing an unheard song with a troupe of dancers which is adding fuel to the VMA fire. It has been confirmed that she'll appear on the show but it has been reported that she would not be performing but rather just playing a part in the opening. In a statement released to MTV, Britney said that "MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated." Could this video be a sneak peek at  an upcoming single or video she is preparing or could the VMA rumors be true after all? Regardless, Britney's moves are solid in the clip below. It's good to have her back. I'll guess we'll have to see tomorrow night, when the show is broadcast, what she has in store. xox.
